  1. Laura Thanks for posting this....somehow in all the madness of this week I forgot all about the Booker - silly me. Well, my instincts were all wrong...I thought the 1000 Autumns would win for sure. Luckily I have the Finkler Question out of the library at the moment so I can read it ! :)

  2. Luvvie, I was hoping for the Mitchell book also, but it didn't even make the shortlist. And I realized yesterday that I never posted the shortlist here :/

  3. I've just ordered The Finkler Question on amazon, I have high hopes for it. I hadn't heard of the Booker Challenger before, and I think its probably too late in the year for me to even manage the Winners Circle, but I'll definitely be aiming for Booker Devotee next year.

I'm a bookaholic, to read about me munching through literary leaves, visit my blog: http://thebook-caterpillar.blogspot.com

  4. book caterpillar, some of our contributors signed up for the 2010 challenge, others consider Booker Prize reading a "perpetual" challenge with no time limit. Of course you are welcome to sign up for 2011, but wanted to make you aware of the alternative.
