Well I've only read one and that is The Slap by Christos. I think it is a book that rouses deep emotions. It's not an easy read by any stretch of the imagination and I did sometimes feel that I was reading about an alien race sometimes - who are these people??? - and yet, they are my people - warts and all. I reviewed it on librarything last year.
ReplyDeleteI've read the Slap too and agree with what Luvvie said. I'm yet to blog my review on it though, and am reading Room at the moment, which I've given my initial thoughts on over at my blog www.bookerbites.wordpress.com
