Anne Enright wins 2007 Booker Prize

Irish author Anne Enright has won the 2007 Man Booker Prize, for her Irish family saga The Gathering ! Enright is the second Irish woman to win the prize. She has written three previous novels: The Wig my Father Wore, What are you Like?, and The Pleasure of Eliza Lynch.

Read the press release on the Booker Prize website. I have added the 2007 winner to "The List" in the sidebar ...

  1. Cool. I bought this one two weeks ago hoping to read it before the winner was announced, so I have it here already. I didn't get it read yet.
